Overwatch 2 is finally here for players to jump right into the action. Despite being plagued by bugs and glitches, the game has been made available for all platforms. However, before players can queue up for their chance and get to take on the enemies, they will be required to download the free-to-play game.

Downloading the game takes some time, as it is a big file. So, players should ensure to make space on their PC or console and follow these simple steps mentioned below to download the game onto their platform of choice.

Downloading Overwatch 2 on Xbox

Players can download the game onto either Xbox One or Xbox Series S/X without paying any cost. It will eat up around 30 GB of space on Xbox consoles.

There are three ways to do it:

  • Players need to search for Overwatch 2 on the Xbox console.
  • Look for Overwatch 2 on the Microsoft Store.
  • Find the game on the mobile/tablet Xbox app.

Downloading on PlayStation

The PlayStation version will also take up 30 GB of space.

  • Players need to look for “Overwatch 2” on PlayStation console.
  • Now, download it remotely on the PS App.
  • Players can also download it remotely on the PlayStation Store.

Downloading Overwatch 2 on PC

For this players are required to download and install the Battle.net launcher. The game will need 50GB to download on a PC. Once installed, players need to follow these steps:

  • Players need to log in with their Battle.net credentials.
  • Now, they need to go to the Overwatch 2 page.
  • Once done, they need to hit install.

Downloading Nintendo Switch

Just like other consoles, the game will take up 30 GB on Switch. There are two ways to download the game:

  • Players need to search and download Overwatch 2 from the Nintendo Store.
  • Then, they need to find and download from the Nintendo eShop.
