Takemachi and Tomari are the authors of the Japanese light novel series Spy Classroom, and the first volume was published on January 18, 2020. Due to its success, by July 20, 2022, Fujimi Shobo has released eight volumes of the main series and two short stories. Kaname Seu and Benishake alternated drawing its manga adaptation for the Media Factory’s Monthly Comic Alive magazine beginning in May 2020. Three bound volumes of the same were made available by July 20, 2022, and the Feel-directed anime series adaptation premiered on television on January 5, 2023.

What To Expect from Episode 12

In the flashback scene, Klaus and the others overcame Corpse, and in the end, Lily arranged up a date for Klaus and Grete. Yet, Klaus makes it plain that he has no romantic love for Grete or anybody else, but prefers to think of her as family.

Viewers were subsequently left wondering if this meant the end of the series, considering that Corpse had been halted. Nevertheless, this does not appear to be the case, as the anime currently only goes up to volume 2. Also, now that Corpse has been stopped, events in volume 3 are expected to unfold.

In the previous episode, fans may have caught a glimpse of the locales for their forthcoming journey being developed. After the difficult job is finished, the four girls—Thea, Monika, Annette, and Erna—will be given a break in episode 11. During their pleasurable weekend getaway, Annette, among the spies with memory loss and unknown ancestry, would then meet her mom. After the holiday, four girls will disappear, preparing the way for Klaus and the remaining girls’ subsequent quest.

Recap of Previous Episode

Grete revealed in Episode 11 of Spy Classroom that Klaus was never present and that she had been pretending to be him during their mission briefings in order to confuse Corpse. Olivia was soon discovered to be a member of Corpse’s crew.

Klaus then joined the rest of Lamplight on a second expedition to take down Corpse, leaving Grete, Lily, Sibylla, and Sara to deal with Olivia on their own. Nevertheless, as Olivia prepared to battle, she remembered meeting Corpse after one of his killings, falling in love with him, and finally becoming his apprentice after she got away.

Olivia began the battle by avoiding Lily and Sibylla and approaching Grete immediately. In the following scene, Grete persuaded Uwe to shoot Olivia after tricking her into believing she had the upper hand. Grete exposed her facial abnormality after Olivia was shot, and Klaus ultimately appeared, carrying Corpse, and recounted that, before catching Olivia, he was inspired by Grete’s resolve to conceal her blemish.

When the mission came to a close, Lily managed to set up a date between Klaus and Grete in the last minutes of the show. Klaus, on the other hand, has made it obvious that he has no romantic feelings for Grete and regards her as family.
