The skins' design complements the game's newest map, Antarctic Peninsula, which debuted in February at the beginning of season three. The location of Mei's "Rise and Shine" cinematic, which debuted in the fall of 2017, is depicted on the map of the frozen control points.

The pair of skins, which are available as part of the 2,500-coin “Antarctic” bundle, are primarily white and grey to match the snow found on the game’s icy maps. New Sojourn and Tracer skins in Overwatch 2 will make your adversaries look twice as bad:

Each hero has some orange accents on different parts of their outfits to contrast the mostly white skins, and as one might anticipate from a skin with a winter theme, each hero is bundled up for warmth. One of two new bundles that Blizzard unveiled today is the skins bundle. The other bundle includes a brand-new Legendary Empress Mei skin, which transforms the Chinese climatologist into a contemporary interpretation of old-school Chinese royalty. Mei’s bundle costs 2,000 Overwatch coins and comes with three additional cosmetics with a golden theme.

A particularly welcome addition to her section of the hero gallery is the new Sojourn skin. Sojourn, one of the new characters in Overwatch 2, doesn’t have as many cosmetic options as heroes like Tracer, who have been in the game since its 2016 release. Players will have about a week to pay the necessary amount of coins before these skins are placed back in the vault for an arbitrary period of time because both of Overwatch 2’s new bundles are a part of the new weekly rotation.

After the rebalancing she received at the beginning of Season 2 last week, it appears that Sojourn is still too strong. Meanwhile, Doomfist has grown stronger and more annoying thanks to Season 2 buffs (at least in my games). Less than a week after joining the lineup, Ramattra is already scheduled for some changes; his chance of survival currently seems a little low.

Less than a week has passed since the start of Overwatch 2 Season 2, and Blizzard is already considering changing the balance of some heroes. Aaron Keller, the director of the game, claims that Team 4 may modify Sojourn, Doomfist, Ramattra, Roadhog, and Tracer later this week based on preliminary Season 2 data.
