As the chapter opens, Hari reflects on the times Minwoo had been there for her. She feels down since she believes their positions are backwards, despite the fact that she is the elder.
After she finishes cleaning up the house, Minwoo gets back to studying, muttering something about how he wants to learn to use CAD for design, etc. The sparkle in Minwoo’s eyes brings joy to Hari, even though she doesn’t comprehend.
It appears like the sisters just agreed to share MC without any drama. Nari then video chats Minwoo and claims that Hari will take good care of him since she isn’t there and he’ll feel lonely otherwise. Since Nari wants Minwoo to be more invested in her work, she informs him that he will soon be the model for a t-shirt her idol firm is releasing.
We then see Hari reflecting on the fact that Nari had the option to be independent and do as she pleased from a young age, but that her parents insisted that she grow up with a set of traditional Korean values, including cooking, flower arranging, the tea ceremony, and eventually meeting Korea’s elite.
The elderly men all speak highly of the m**f, praising her for the way she brought up her daughter and gushing over the fact that some lucky man will be lucky to marry her (before Hari fell in love with Minwoo, the m**f was setting her up to marry the son of one of those powerful people).
