The fourth season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will see the biggest seasonal content drop yet, Activision announced today. The new season, which begins on June 14 and includes the new Warzone map Vondel, will include a total of seven maps for various modes and four new guns.

Activision describes the European-inspired setting as having “a row of town houses, boutique shops, a central plaza, and a swimmable canal along its west flank.”The additional maps are for some of MW2’s other game modes. For example, Gunfight uses Mercado and Penthouse, and Ground War uses Mawizeh Marshlands and Ahkdar Village. Vondel Waterfront, a new core six-v-six map, will be available in the middle of the season.
A new map is useless if there isn’t a new weapon to level up with. The Tonfa melee weapon, the ISO 45 SMG, the Tempus Razorback assault rifle, and a shotgun are among the new weapons coming in Season 4.
The Tonfa melee weapon will be unlocked in an in-season event called Assault on Vondel, which will feature the season’s new operator, Nikto, returning from Modern Warfare 2019. The first two weapons can be unlocked in the season four battle pass. There will be a total of five new operators in season four.
Along with new rewards to earn and a new Raid episode coming in the mid-season update, which is most likely to arrive in July, the new season also features a new season of ranked play in both MW2 and Warzone 2.The fourth season of MW2 and Warzone will debut on June 14 of next week.
