Mira tells Kyouka what she said to Ren after the incident, revealing that Tenka is under observation; Kyouka confirms that she is connected with the situation on a personal level. Kyouka agrees with Mira that the Anti-Demon Corps would be better off focusing on fending off the Thunder Gods rather than fostering dissension amongst themselves at this time. Ren has a massive ego, as even Mira acknowledges, therefore Kyouka’s contempt for her is understandable.
As Yuuki, engrossed in contemplating the quantity of food to prepare, wanders aimlessly through the halls during a 6th Unit joint training session, he unexpectedly encounters Yachiho and Sahara as they change clothes. Later on, Yuuki, Kyouka, and Varvara meet up in the middle of a Shuuki hotspot, and Varvara tries out her lending skills. Before a swarm of Shuuki materializes, Yuuki borrows Varvara from Kyouka and assumes the massive mechanical Slave: Komainu form. In the midst of the Shuuki’s attack, Yuuki builds a shield that explodes, killing them instantly.
Varvara tells Yuuki to keep fighting because she is unhappy with how mild the “punishment” was. Yuuki uses his extended tail to slice Shuuki to shreds before releasing a fist that resembles a rocket from his arm. Yuuki insists he is utterly unwearied after vanquishing nearly all of the Shuuki, and Varvara attributes his strength to his unwavering dedication to Kyouka.
