The first international Valorant event in the 2023 has racked up some impressive viewership – and the peak continues to rise. Defending champions Loud faced off against Carmine Corp today to determine whether the Brazilian or the French would be upset. The quarterfinal matchup saw the highest ever audience for the tournament, with numbers expected to continue to grow throughout the event. The fourth day of the event will see two quarterfinal matches, the second of which will be between Brazil’s Loud and EMEA’s Carmine Corp. The Karmine Corp vs. Loud matchup, arguably the two most dominant fan bases in VALORANT outside of North America, boasted a peak viewership of 588,848, nearly 20,000 more viewers than the opening match between KOI and NRG. According to data provided by Esports Chart, the average viewership of the tournament is 367,549.

The 32-team event was split between two large brackets over a number of weeks to facilitate the number of teams.
