BTS member Jungkook lately launched his first official solo single called ‘SEVEN,’ that also has American rapper and singer Latto. The music video for ‘SEVEN’ also has actress Han So-hee alongwith Jungkook. Since the launch of the song, ‘SEVEN’ has smashed multiple records for JK. KNOW THE RECORDS MADE BY ‘SEVEN’

With the ‘Seven’ song, he set a latest record by a K-pop act to get the number 1 place on the global Spotify list. As per the world’s largest music streaming company, named Spotify’s latest chart released on July 14, Jungkook’s solo single ‘SEVEN’ featureing Latto went to straight No. 1 place with 15,995,378 streaming times on “Daily Top Song Global.” In India, the song got placed in the top 10 of the trending songs.

On the Spotify “Daily Top Song Global” chart, “Instrumental” of “SEVEN” got the rank 65th, and Jungkook’s solo songs “Still With You” and “My You,” that were launched as a free music in the past, were also got the spot of 54th and 113th, respectively.

Not only on Spotify, the song has reached to No.1 spot on the iTunes “Top Song” chart as well. Also, ‘SEVEN’ got the No.1 place on the Melon TOP 100 (as of 0 o’clock on the 15th), the largest music site in Korea, within just 11 hours of its launch. It set a new record for grabbing the No. 1 ranking for the shortest time as a male solo artist. Even on YouTube, the song is trending and has already received more than 50 M views and still counting.

‘SEVEN’ BY JUNGKOOK

Jungkook said that ‘SEVEN’ is a summer song that has an soothing melody with a warm sound acoustic guitar and the tune of the genre of “UK garage” (electronic music made in England in the early 1990s). The song has been launched in two editions, the clean and the explicit one, it was released with an instrumental version as well. He started off the promotions by performing at GMA.

When he was having interviews, Jungkook stated that he made Kim Taehyung aka V hear ‘SEVEN’ for the first time and the response from all BTS members were very supportive. According to the reports, Jungkook’s solo album will be a full-English album.
