Valorant is without a doubt one of the most popular tactical shooter games across the globe, and Riot has been trying to make the experience even better for the players. But there is a common issue players come across—Pocket Loss Error. There might be several reasons behind this issue, so we have listed some tricks and tips that players can use to tackle this issue.

No matter how the player is, the pocket loss can ruin the whole experience; this might be due to server issues of the client host via Riot Games, although if it happens, the developer will already be looking into it and update the game’s official server status page.

If the servers of the game are running seamlessly, then it might be some issue with the internet connectivity; here are a few solutions that you can try to fix your problem.

Try restarting the router

  • Testing your router should always be the first move.
  • Turn off the internet router.
  • Wait for a few minutes and then turn it back on.
  • Open Valorant and check in-game internet connectivity.

CHANGE DNS

If the router isn’t the problem then players can try and change their default DNS provided by their ISP. Just like any other server, a default DNS server could have some issues, players can change it to make their gaming experience better.

Players can use some DNS servers, but the most trusted one might be Google’s DNS. Players can visit its website and follow the instruction and see if it resolves the issue.

Reach out to ISP

If troubleshooting at home doesn’t work, it might be the right time to contact ISP. Ask them to offer an alternate routing for the internet connection. Also, players have to make sure they ask for the desired server source they want their routing from. After the routing is changed, players can check their ping from the server source and then launch Valorant and check in-game connectivity.
