You must first locate the Riot Games folder on your computer. The folder is typically located in the C: Drive. Look under the appropriate drive folder if you can’t find the folder or are using a different drive to store your games. Now select VALORANT from the Riot Games folder. The live > ShooterGame > Content > Movies > Menu folder can be found there. If you want to switch back to the most recent wallpaper video later, remove it from this screen or move it to another location.

The file name for the most recent game’s home screen should be “HomepageEp*Number*A*Number**extra data if any*.” Replace it with the customized animation/live wallpaper file you previously downloaded, making sure to give the new video the same name as the one it is replacing.

You can see the “HomepageEp6A3 Arcade” home screen video in Episode Six, Act Three, as an example. The name of the homepage you want to replace this with should be “HomepageEp6A3 Arcade.” Although Riot hasn’t explicitly stated that altering the game’s home screen could result in a ban, players, and creators who have used the technique have insisted that it is completely safe.

Riot typically targets players who use third-party applications with questionable frameworks or that give them a competitive advantage by altering gameplay. The developers might not put much effort into a simple home screen edit, though, as it doesn’t directly involve the use of any third-party services. If you decide to replace the official VALORANT home screen with one of your options in the absence of an official confirmation, be sure to do so at your own risk.
