Hogwarts Legacy might have had an official companions feature that might have been scrapped before its release. Fans are hopeful that the feature might return to the game in the form of a DLC.
The game has already taken the industry by storm and has become one of the most popular games of this generation. The game has managed to sell over 12 million copies despite a boycott attempt, but it looks like Warner Bros had much more planned for this game of wizardry.
Although the game only offers a single-player campaign at the moment, it features several side characters that fans are in love with, and through the use of PC mods, they are able to go on quests with the players.

What’s more interesting is that by using companion mods, players have discovered special voice lines hidden away for Sebastian, Poppy, Natty, and other students at the school.
In a TikTok post, user ‘miss_soapy’ has revealed all the different companion voice lines that show up when the ‘Ghosts of Our Love’ and ‘Well, Well, Well’ side missions. The dialogue seems to be complete and hints that the developers had much bigger plans for the friendships players would have made at Hogwarts.
It’s unclear at the moment why the mode was not released, but players are hoping that it will be officially added to the game in some capacity in the coming days.
“I wonder if they might give us the companion system in a future update? From what y‘all post, it seems like the companion system was almost done but they scrapped it last minute,” a Reddit user said.
“I would guess that if we see a companions feature that it’d be specific to some new DLC area or only for DLC quests, rather than work it back into the whole base game. But I could be wrong on all counts,” another user commented.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like a DLC is in the works for the game, but with WB planning for sequels in the Harry Potter franchise, it could play a crucial role in the next installment of the game.
This insane spell combo was used by a user named candletastetester on the HarryPotterGame subreddit. The post showed a picture of the spell combo counter sitting at a high 2,427.
Members of the community were stunned at how they were even able to reach a combo that high. Several users guessed that the player used an Inferi enemy to reach the combo, as they don’t take any damage until hit with a Fire-based spell.
In response, the user confirmed that most of the hits were from Basic Casts, as Trolls cannot be juggled with spells such as Levioso and Flippendo. The combo performed on a River Troll makes the feat even more impressive.
