GTA: The Trilogy has finally arrived on PC, coming out of Rockstar launcher shackles. Players can now enjoy the game on Steam if they want. Sadly for them, the game might not be working to its full potential. This has hampered the gaming experience for those hoping to play the game the way it was meant on a platform of their preference.

The game comprises an updated version of GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas. The game was only available to play on Rockstar Launcher, however, when the game was later released for Steam. GTA: The Trilogy will also be hitting the Epic Games Store soon.

Did GTA: The Trilogy cheat the players?

The game has been positioned as the Definitive Edition, with better visuals and controls. Players had polarising thoughts about the game when it came out as they were hoping for a continuation of the series rather than refreshing the old ones. But players who didn’t try their hands on the originals were excited to play the game.

Sadly, it isn’t working out for most who bought the new edition. The same technical issues from 2021 continued to plague the new version that was released for Steam. Fans are pretty upset, considering Rockstar promised to improve the games, but this version of the refreshed game has been unchanged since the last patch released in October 2022. Fans are upset that no major updates have been pushed since February 2022.

Speaking of the reviews of GTA: The Trilogy, it has been a mixed bag. Many players thought that the improvements in the game made it worthwhile to revisit the game, even if it didn’t match the standard of current-generation games.

Others are pointing out the overwhelming presence of bugs in the game, which hampered their gaming experience. The game is currently half off on Steam, and players can grab a copy on the Epic Games Store later in February.

GTA Online players spot GTA 6 teaser

Rockstar tipster ‘Gaming Detective’ has shared the similarities between GTA Online’s Taxi Work logo and the big “Miami Taxi Vibes.” Both logos showcase the city’s skyline, which could mean the game taxi company will exist in GTA 6.

The shirt, named ‘Downtown Cab Co. Revere Collar,’ showcases a city that some players believe is the Vice City in GTA 6, similar to Port Gellhorn. Considering how Vice City is a rip-off of Miami in the GTA franchise, it’s possible that it is a hint from the developed about the next installment, but players will have to wait and see what Rockstar has in store for them.

With a trailer expected to drop anytime now, fans are growing impatient for some official news from Rockstar about the highly-anticipated game.
