As a player, you’ll join forces with Charlie and put your mercenary skills to the test through six new challenging missions.
Project Overthrow offers a variety of exhilarating missions designed to push your abilities to the limit. From reconnaissance to equipment recovery and audacious rescues, each operation requires careful planning, precise execution, and the ability to outsmart Merryweather’s formidable war machine. Engage in intense firefights, utilize advanced tactics, and prove your worth as a skilled mercenary.
In addition to Project Overthrow, players can take on private contracts as part of the Los Santos Angels’ LSA Operations. These contracts present exciting opportunities to acquire unique outfits and unlock bonus objectives for additional rewards. Embark on daring missions such as parachuting onto an aircraft carrier under cover of darkness, coordinating a devastating bombing run, or deploying an EMP blast to disable a government installation. These thrilling challenges will keep you on the edge of your seat.
The San Andreas Mercenaries update introduces exciting upgrades for smuggling operations. Hangar properties now offer a range of new abilities and features to enhance your gameplay experience. With a fully equipped Hangar, you can now store and customize the Avenger, a formidable aerial fortress. The addition of an Mk II Weapons Workshop allows you to upgrade your personal arsenal with advanced weaponry.
Charlie Reed’s ex-military associates are ready to lend a hand in your operations. Rooster McCraw, a dishonorably discharged helicopter pilot and recent recruit to the Los Santos Angels, can assist you in sourcing cargo for a small fee. Additionally, Hangar properties now provide free snacks and weapon pickups to prepare you for any combat situation. Aspiring pilots can also take advantage of the newly added Flight School access point inside the Hangar to hone their skills.
For avid smugglers, the San Andreas Mercenaries update offers four new Source Missions and three new Sell Missions. These missions, available through the Free Trade Shipping Co. laptop in your Hangar, provide thrilling opportunities to dive deep into the sea, engage private militaries, and more. Choose the land option when launching these missions to experience a unique perspective from the driver’s seat, expanding the Air Freight Cargo business.
The Mammoth Avenger, a versatile flying fortress, receives substantial upgrades in this update. Previously requiring ownership of a Facility or Hangar, the Avenger can now be called to your location directly from the Services section of the Interaction Menu, making it more accessible than ever. Hangar owners with a Workshop can customize their Avenger with powerful mil-spec upgrades, including front-facing machine guns, missiles, and additional modules like the Stealth Module and Missile Lock-On Jammer.
To embark on Project Overthrow and LSA Operations, players can acquire the Operations Terminal. This interior upgrade, available for purchase from Charlie in the Hangar or during Avenger customization, grants access to these thrilling gameplay expansions. If you don’t yet own a Hangar, fear not, as the Operations Terminal can be acquired when upgrading the Avenger through the Warstock Cache & Carry website.
The San Andreas Mercenaries update introduces a range of exciting vehicles to spice up your adventures. From the sleek and powerful Grotti Itali GTO Stinger TT sports car to the versatile off-road prowess of the Maibatsu MonstroCiti SUV, there’s a vehicle for every player’s preference.
