Fans can expect a major GTA 6 announcement, as YouTuber and journalist HipHopGamer has teased the game after meeting with Rockstar Games’ boss. Rockstar has been quiet about the details of the game since they confirmed that the game was in development.

Despite gameplay leaks showcasing Vice City in action alongside a female protagonist, fans have been wondering an official reveal would finally be in the offing. But it looks like something could be in the works.

In a social media post, hipHopGamer posted a photo with Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick and hyped up Grand Theft Auto VI in the process.

GTA 6 will be something to remember

In his social media post, HipHopGamer commented that GTA 6 is “hyped” and that he is a fan of Rockstar Games. “When I tell you that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be a forever moment to remember, oh man it’s over,” he wrote.

It’s unclear why the journalist met Zelnick or if he saw or even played the upcoming game, but it does look like he was able to learn some new info about the next entry in the series. In the comments, fellow users asked if he was allowed to post such details and if was breaking a Non-disclosure agreement (NDA).

Interestingly, hiphopGamer’s LinkedIn post sharing the same photo with Zelnick doesn’t mention the game at all, but does say the CEO is “dope.” While his meeting with Rockstar head doesn’t mean anything, fans can still expect some news regarding the game in the coming days.

Fresh GTA 6 leaks convince fans they are real

A new wave of GTA 6 leaks has surfaced on the internet; however, fans shouldn’t get too excited by them as they’re pretty easily debunked. Rockstar Games is yet to officially announce GTA 6’s release date, which hasn’t stopped fans from getting excited about the next installment of the iconic franchise.

That hype only got bigger in September 2022 when, out of nowhere, around 70 videos of the gameplay tests for GTA 6 leaked online. Rockstar and its parent company Take-Two Interactive noted that the developers had been affected by the leaks, but they wouldn’t alter their plans for the release.

Many such videos have been scrubbed off the web as DMCA takedowns have routinely been issued. However, they’ve also led to new leaks that have excited fans.

A few leaks are doing rounds online, with many claiming to show new parts of the upcoming game. However, they’re anything but true. One such leak shows the female character walking down a populated street in a Downtown district. The text on-screen is in Vice City style; however, the whole thing gets debunked if fans look closer at one of the buses or her right-hand side.

The bus says it is going to San Francisco Financial District, which, firstly, is a real place so it wouldn’t appear in GTA, and secondly, in some 3,000 miles away from Florida on a completely different coast.
