Genshin Impact version 2.7 is finally live after a three week delay and is called the ‘Hidden Dreams in the Depths’ update. This new update a lot of new things for the players– two new playable characters, a brand new story line and other content that players will most definitely enjoy. There is not official information about what would be there in the update, or when it will come out. But players and miners are looking for a needle in the haystack and are able to find as much as they can. For now, some leaked information is out there talking about new banners, new content, storylines, reruns and nerfs.
In Genshin Impact Version 2.7, the trailer also shed light at the “Perilous Trail” event, which introduced a brand new Archon Quest that the players will be able to enjoy. The quest is going to acquaint players with Liyue and the battle 500 years ago. Yanfei, Yelan, Arataki Itto, and Kuki Shinobu will star as they struggle to survive these new threats. The plot will also centre on Xiao and his perilous investigation.

According to a Twitter leak, A Summer Sea Sojourn will be the main event in Version 2.8. Fischl, Oz, Kazuha, Mona, and others are said to be attending these unknown festivities. According to Reddit, new challenges such as the Surfpiercer Challenge and the Reminiscent Regimen Challenge may be included in this event. The summer theme for Surfpiercer will be riding a Waverider in the ocean as you charge up to activate the mighty Surfpiercer’s Surge. The Reminiscent Regimen challenge has three themes: Convoy, Raid, and Abseil, with a reward if you complete each one. Both of these challenges will allow players to play single-player or co-op.
Along with Kazuha, a new 4-star sword has been revealed in the 2.8 Beta files. There isn’t much information available for this weapon, but it is rumoured on Twitter to deal 180 percent AoE DMG and increase ATK for eight seconds. Any of the sword’s attacks will summon the Hewing Gale, which can be used once every eight seconds.
