With the launch of Episode Six, Act Three in April and the subsequent global open beta phase, the Premier era has started in VALORANT. The goal of Premier is to replace open qualifiers for VCT events eventually. Premier will officially launch after VCT Champions 2023 concludes in August. However, a test phase known as the Ignition Stage will give players one more opportunity to test out Premier before its official launch.

Based on their average skill level and the closest regional zones, players can spend the first few days of the Premier season (or the beta season) recruiting teammates and setting up their teams. Teams compete in weekly matches on pre-selected maps, and at the end of the season, a tournament is held to determine the champion in each skill category. Depending on the region zone you are competing in, there are different queue windows for each match day.

Week one: Bind

  • Thursday, July 20

Week two: Split

  • Thursday, July 27
  • Saturday, July 29

Week three: Lotus

  • Thursday, Aug. 3

Between July 11 and July 20, you can enroll in the VALORANT Premier Ignition Stage. Teams must be fully enrolled before July 20 and have between five and seven players. Matches start on July 20 and the Ignition Phase lasts until August 13. Teams receive 100 points for a victory, 25 points for a defeat, and no points if they choose not to compete.

After the season, teams with at least 375 points will be eligible to compete. Each team may participate in up to two games per week. Teams will employ a pick-and-ban system for the Test Tournament and Playoff Tournament. Up until a map is selected, teams will alternately ban maps.
