Fortnite Servers Shut Down in around 4 p.m. it will likely be at least a night before players are able to log back into the game. During the last event, Collision, the servers were down for about 12 hours after the event ended, but this could easily change. Now that Epic Games has taken the servers offline, the developer is working to get new maps and features implemented into the game. While we’re not entirely sure what to expect from this new season, many players are excited to see how Island and Loop will recover after the threat of Chrome.

In the weeks leading up to the event, a number of theories about the new features have been sprung up by some reputable leakers. Some of these features include the previously leaked first-person perspective of HYPEX, which will definitely add a new and exciting way to experience Fortnite. While this information is still speculation, it will probably be as big a change as the Zero Build Mode released earlier this year.

As Epic Games prepares the servers to go, leaks will likely emerge and give players more information on what will be available in Chapter Four of Fortnite. As Paradigm added more and more islands, new areas became available for exploration, as well as more places to find orbs.We don’t have an exact time yet, but according to an Xbox in-game message Chapter 4 begins on December 4th. This means the earliest the servers can come back online would be midnight ET / 9pm PT. I think it’s more likely that the servers will go live in the middle of the night around 3am ET / midnight PT. In other words: the servers will be live when you wake up tomorrow morning and download the new update.
