Deathruns are maps designed to put your Fortnite skill and patience to the test. While your building and shooting skills will not be tested, your problem solving, movement, and quick thinking will be. Maps are typically quite long and contain multiple levels, each with a unique set of challenges. Some require you to avoid obstacles, others require you to land on small platforms, still others will put your timing to the test, and still others will put everything to the test.

Duo Disco Deathrun

Players must work together to run their way through the course in this Duos deathrun. There are numerous traps, timed obstacles, and one-of-a-kind challenges to overcome, all while being distracted by the disco-themed visuals. This map adds a fresh perspective to Fortnite deathruns.

The Mystery of Lonely Island Deathrun

Players are stranded on Lonely Island in this two-part series and must explore and survive a slew of traps and challenges in order to escape. Part 2 is a 50-level deathrun with what appears to be a new mechanic for each level. One of the most appealing aspects of this map is the level of detail that went into it, as the atmosphere truly immerses you in the feeling of being on an isolated island.

Pirate Jonesy’s Deathrun

This is one of the most well-liked Deathrun maps in Fortnite. Jonesy appears to be involved in all of the best Deathrun maps in some way (see Season 5 Battle Pass Deathrun below). This map has ten difficult levels to complete before facing off against Pirate Jonesy himself.

Island Master Deathrun

This map combines the best features of both worlds. You compete against other players in your party to the finish line to be crowned Island Master. There is a lot of difficult parkour in this Deathrun.

Season 5 Battle Pass Deathrun

Put on your Jonesy outfit and join him in his mission to capture the best and brightest Hunters. Some of the deathrun obstacles are in previously unseen forms. Drop in and fly through this course in one of the most thrilling, death-defying runs you’ll ever witness.

Fox Clan Trial Deathrun

This is a one-of-a-kind deathrun in which your goal is to earn your place among the Fox Clan by completing this outdoor nature-themed obstacle course. This code is for up to 16 players and will determine who can dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge their way into the elite gang. You should definitely run this deathrun a few times before competing, lest you finish last and die the most.

Wonka’s 100 Levels Deathrun

It’s a dangerous deathrun aimed at a younger audience, similar to the film The Chocolate Factory. This map has 100 levels and a 100% guarantee of fun.

The North Pole: Deathrun

It’s a full Christmas map, jumping over snowballs and Christmas lights, and it’s very visually appealing. According to the map description, there are 25 levels of difficulty ranging from easy to medium.

Slide Nation Deathrun

Another fantastic map that adds a unique twist to the game type by requiring you to slide rather than run. There are ten fantastic levels to complete in a variety of themes.
