Crunchyroll has made the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero U.S. release date official, after a poster revealed it earlier this month. The film, which is distributed by Crunchyroll in the United States and around the world, will be released on August 19 in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Zambia, and Vietnam. “The Red Ribbon Army was once destroyed by Son Goku. After 131 episodes, the anime adaptation of Dragon Ball Super ended in March 2018. This is the second film in the highly successful Dragon Ball Super sequel series to Dragon Ball Z. Tatsuya Nagamine directed and Akira Toriyama wrote the first film, Dragon Ball Super: Broly. Broly is set after the events of the Universe Survival Saga and features Goku and Vegeta facing off against the legendary Saiyan.
