Initial spoilers for Dragon Ball Super chapter 84 have finally leaked online, hinting that both Goku and Vegeta will be getting new armour. With the upcoming Super Hero theatrical film set to debut worldwide in just a few months, 2022 is shaping up to be another massive year in Dragon Ball Super’s tenure. However, the entire Dragon Ball community’s focus has shifted back to the manga series, which is set to release its latest instalment later this week. According to Viz Media, Dragon Ball Super Chapter 84 will be released worldwide on Thursday, May 19th. Chapter 84 will be free on both platforms, with Manga Plus available for download from the App Store and Google Play. The popular Twitter page ‘DbsHype’ has shared early spoilers for Dragon Ball Super chapter 84, which will be titled “Pride of the Warrior Race.” According to Monaito, “the message only goes so far,” and that once Bardock could move again, he left the planet with only one scouter left to gather information. Goku breaks out in cold sweat as he recalls his childhood, specifically seeing his parents from inside the Saiyan Pod.
He falls asleep again, and we see several frames of his parents on planet Vegeta with Raditz. When Bardock knocks on the glass of the Saiyan Pod before leaving the planet, he is awakened one last time.
Return to the present, where Goku is telling Vegeta that he has finally understood what Saiyan pride is, with Vegeta also pointing out that he has misunderstood how they must “carry the pride of Saiyans, not their sins.” He does, however, comment on how surprising it is that this lesson came from Kakarot’s father, adding that the only reason Goku and Raditz survived was due to the Dragon Balls. Monaito is impressed by the way Bardock’s willpower has been passed down, adding that everyone should live with pride rather than just a thirst for vengeance.
