As has already been mentioned by many, Yoru can also quickly equip, activate, and sacrifice his Fakeout clone to Deadlock's Annihilation tether.

One of the most underrated characters in the game may be the best suited to counter the abilities of the newest agent, Deadlock, even though they are not the most well-known agent in either the competitive or professional VALORANT meta. Sadly, one of their strategies may soon be dropped from the repertoire.

It’s no secret that Yoru has failed to remain consistently relevant as a mainstay of competitive VALORANT, with the duelist acting more as a fun sidekick than as the main focus of any legitimate composition. However, he might be worth a try if you anticipate facing Deadlock in your upcoming matches. If you need more information about the newest bug being fixed, one VALORANT agent remains the best deadlock counter, then read carefully, and don’t forget to share with your friends.

Despite the newest bug being fixed, one VALORANT agent remains the best deadlock counter:

One of the most recent discoveries from the VALORANT community demonstrates how Yoru can instantly destroy the obtrusive Barrier Mesh created by Deadlock. The anchor for Yoru’s Fakeout clone will glitch into the exact center of the Barrier Mesh when you jump and place it, and when you activate the clone, it will instantly destroy the shield configuration. This was demonstrated in a video shared today by YouTuber Rem. The Yoru clone advances and offers its customary value in addition to being able to destroy the barrier without using up an entire ammo clip.

However, there are a few caveats. Rem first points out that, occasionally, the clone will simply become stuck in the middle of the Barrier Mesh and, if it is destroyed by the opposing team, won’t even trigger its flashbang effect. More importantly, even if the trick succeeds, it probably won’t last very long because a Riot gameplay producer has already discovered the bug. When the following patch is released, which is anticipated to be in mid-July, it might already be gone.

Yoru is a potent Deadlock counter-pick, even if this trick is patched out. Sending the Fakeout clone is an effective tactic for disabling her Sonic Sensor because it will explode when the clone passes through loudly. If Yoru is caught in a GravNet grenade or is actively attempting to take down a Barrier Mesh orb, he can also use his teleport to escape danger.

As has already been mentioned by many, Yoru can also quickly equip, activate, and sacrifice his Fakeout clone to Deadlock’s Annihilation tether. He can avoid Annihilation by using his teleport. Yoru gives you an additional option for countering players who are skilled at Deadlock, but he is still unlikely to become a key component of the competitive meta until he receives a sizable buff.
