The World Championship Finals return from 23-25 September, and this year, all the action will go down at Supercell’s home turf: Helsinki, Finland! On Tuesday, we shared introductory information about the2022 Clash of Clans World Championship. Yesterday, we dove into the details of the Championship Qualifiers: the 5-week competition where teams will compete for 4 available Golden Tickets. Today is all about the World Championship Finals, where the 8 best Clash of Clans teams in the world will compete to become World Champions! The World Championship Finals will take place over 3 days and will feature a double elimination bracket, like in 2021. As you may remember from last year, anything can happen when the best teams in the world face off!
In 2021, #1 seed and 2020 World Champions ATN.aTTaX were eliminated after just 2 Wars, while underdogs like BADZINGER and Aphelion eSports made deep runs through the bracket. And with all 8 teams competing in-person in Helsinki, Finland, the action will certainly be even more intense in 2022!
The 4 teams that earn Golden Tickets from the Championship Qualifiers will meet the 4 teams that earned Golden Tickets through community-organized tournaments. So far, X Team E-Sport and M.S Esports have already claimed their spots at the World Championship Finals by winning the Queso Cup Golden Edition and Clash MSTRS:Gold Edition. We can’t wait to see which 6 other teams will join them!
Aside from the pride and glory of becoming World Champions, teams are also playing for some major prize money, including the $300,000 grand prize!

This year, we’re so excited to welcome players AND fans back to a live Clash of Clans event! Golden Ticket winners will travel to Helsinki, Finland, to compete in the World Championship Finals, and fans will be able to purchase tickets to attend and watch all the action in-person.

Each ticket will be valid for all three days of the Clash of Clans World Championship Finals, PLUS all three days of the Clash Royale League World Finals, which will take place the same weekend, in the same venue. We’ll have more information about tickets and the venue in August, as the World Championship Finals grow closer.
As always, the World Championship Finals will be broadcast live on the official Clash of Clans Twitch, YouTube and Facebook channels, where you’ll be able to tune in for every War of the bracket! With the 2022 World Championship Finals marking the return of live, in-person Clash of Clans competition, we can’t wait to see what those Wars bring!
