However, players can try out a method to set up their PS4 with a DualSense controller. It can be done by something called a Brook Converter. Using it, players can use several controllers on the PlayStation 4, including the PS5’s DualSense.
Brook Converters and other devices with similar functionality use a direct wired connection or a wireless connection. According to Brook, the PS5’s DualSense can easily work similarly to a PS4 controller.

A PS4 controller will properly on a PS5, while playing PlayStation 4 titles, but not on the current generation games. Some might call it a missed opportunity, but it could be due to the company wanting a clear transition from PS4 to PS5.
The DualSense uses Bluetooth 5.1 and is backward compatible with the PS4’s Bluetooth 4. The restriction isn’t on the hardware end, but for software. It’s likely that Sony could be avoiding letting PS5’s DualSense work with the PS4.
Players are required to download the PlayStation Remote Play PC app. After installing, they need to connect their PS4 controller to their PC. They can use Bluetooth as well as a mini-USB cable.
Sadly, the PlayStation remote app only supports DualShock 4 or DualSense. Connecting the PS4 controller via Bluetooth for the PS Remote Play PC/Mac will not support the following:
To connect the PS4 controller to their device, players need to press and hold the PS and Share button until it flashes. Now, they need to head to Bluetooth options to connect it.
It can be done by going to Settings > System > Remote Play > Enable Remote Play.
