In a very recent Instagram story, Shiva said the only way is to trust the process, and to remember that Esports and gaming are the future.

Rushindra Sinha, CEO, Global Esports, also believes that the game will make a come back extremely soon. In one of his live stream, where he was addressing the concerns raised by inquisitive teens, he said “As per the internal sources BGMI might return soon.” Keep in mind that he also has not given a date, as such, and he also added that people need to pay attention to what could be fake news about the game’s return, and wait for the official news to come, when it does.

He said, “What I know from Inside Sources is that the game might return very soon. However, I know what happened in the case of PUBG. The game came back after 9 nine long months but everyone was telling that it would arrive next week from the first month. ”

All of this serves as a reminder to the people who have been speculative. There is no concrete date, and they will have to take any other news with a pinch of salt.

Is BGMI Banned With 384 Other Apps Banned By Indian Government?

The Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, Rajiv Chandrashekhar, provided this information in a written response to a question posed by Rodmal Nagar in the Lok Sabha. The member had asked whether the government has identified any app sending information outside the country and if any such app is detected then whether they have been banned?

Replying to the question in Lok Sabha, Chandrasekhar said, “Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has identified 348 mobile applications which were collecting users’ information and transmitting it in an unauthorised manner to servers located outside the country for profiling.” 

What Does The Government Say About BGMI Ban?

While there is no official statment from the Indian government, spokespersons from the government have been giving interviews to news channels about BGMI and the ban. Senior MEITY officials discussed how many Indian agencies examined the well-known game several times before sending their findings to the government.

As far as BGMI is concerned, a malicious code was found in the app. Besides that, BGMI also asked for a lot permissions. These rights are vulnerable to abuse since compromised saved user data can be utilised for location monitoring, network harm, and microphone and camera surveillance.

Another official also added that many Chinese apps have been re-launched in the country as “old wine in a new bottle.”
