On matchdays, thousands of people watch the ongoing official tournament, BMOC 2022. Following the conclusion of the Battlegrounds Mobile Open Challenge, Krafton plans to organise BMPS Season 1. As per Krafton, the first season of the Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series (BMPS) will feature a prize pool of 2 crore INR, the largest prize pool for any esports tournament in India to date. BMPS Season 1 is set to begin as soon as the current BMOC concludes. The former is supposed to be the culminating event, with 24 qualified teams from the latter competing for the title of champions.
The League Stage of the tournament will begin on May 19, 2022, and will last until June 5, 2022. The tournament’s finals will take place between June 9 and June 12, 2022. Based on the format and tournament structure, it is possible to conclude that BMOC is comparable to PUBG Mobile Club Open (PMCO), whereas BMPS is comparable to PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL).

The League Stage of the tournament will feature 24 qualified BMOC 2022 teams. These teams will compete against each other in three weeks of blisteringly intense matches. The teams will be split into three groups and will compete in a Round Robin format. There will be a total of 24 matches per week, with 6 matches taking place on the maps Erangel, Miramar, Vikendi, and Sanhok. On matchdays, each group must play four matches. Only the top 16 teams will advance to the BMPS Season 1 Finals.
Finals: The tournament’s finals will take place over four days, from June 9 to June 12, 2022. The 16 teams will play 24 matches in total, with 6 matches played on any given day. The team with the most points at the conclusion of the final match will be crowned BMPS Season 1 champions.
