With only two full years under its belt and just beginning its first year of what is to be the long-term partnership model, VALORANT is still relatively new as of the start of 2023 compared to established esports titles like CS:GO and League of Legends. As a result, as of the conclusion of VCT LOCK/IN to begin the 2023 season, only seven teams had won an international trophy during the VALORANT Champions Tour between 2021 and 2023. The most recent trophy belongs to Fnatic, who might have had the best claim to be at the top of this list if they hadn’t been stopped by LOUD’s ferocious comeback in the grand finals. If you need more information about Best VALORANT teams yet to win an international trophy then read carefully and don’t forget to share with your friends.

Top 5 Best VALORANT team yet to win an international trophy:

It is entirely up to you whether the team or the players themselves win the trophy. Although technically NAVI has never won a trophy, the majority of NRG and all five of the current players have. In VALORANT, there are a number of talented teams with players and organisations that haven’t won, but who will attempt to continue the trend of a new team winning a trophy at each international VCT competition.

Paper Rex:

One of the most electrifying teams to watch in the world, Paper Rex has made Southeast Asia famous thanks to their electrifying brand of play. Their previous two performances have been a little underwhelming, but their breakthrough performances at Masters Reykjavk and Copenhagen in 2022 were outstanding. With their aggressive in-game play style or their silly pre-match antics led by captain Benedict “Benkai” Tan, the team has always brought a good time to VALORANT overall. Aaron “Mindfreak” Leonhart, a dynamic controller player for Paper Rex, is on the team.

DRX

Fnatic’s victory at VCT LOCK/IN in Sao Paulo propels DRX to the top spot among teams that have yet to win a championship. Between their time as Vision Strikers and DRX, the kings of Korea participated in six consecutive international competitions and got closer to the championship match with each match. The team is led by Kim “MaKo” Myeong-kwan, who is regarded as the best controller player in the world and whose staunch defensive presence as a tried-and-true site anchor is preferred against any attacking side. Byung-chul “BuZz” Yu and Kim “stax” Gu-taek are a pair of elite duelists and initiators for DRX. Their tenacity is also noteworthy; over the past two games, they’ve come dangerously close to recovering from a 0-2 series deficit.

Leviatán

Latin American team Leviatán is an exciting one, exemplified by their tenacity and sheer volume of playmaking on the roster. Similar to Paper Rex, they made a strong start in 2022, but unlike DRX, they seem to have gotten better with each match. Francisco “kiNgg” Aravena, a member of the LATAM roster, is one of the world’s most clutch players. He seems to perform even better when the team competes on Haven, and he can seemingly fill any role with consistency. Additionally, Leviatán appears to be a serious contender for a trophy on a day when kiNgg and duelist Vicente “Tacolilla” Compagnon are on fire.

100 Thieves

A reset at the beginning of 2022 and another a few weeks later allowed 100T to return to prominence internationally by the end of the year. They qualified for Champions 2022 through the NA LCQ, looked impressive in their first match at Red Bull Home Ground with Matthew “Cryocells” Panganiban, and advanced to the quarterfinals at LOCK/IN. Their controller Sean “bang” Bezerra is a fantastic player, just like the other teams on this list. Peter “Asuna” Mazuryk, who is only 19 years old but already has a tonne of international experience, is a fantastic flex option. After Cryocells becomes more accustomed to the post-Chamber meta, 100T ought to be able to challenge for the title once more.
