A playoff spot and a $500,000 prize pool is at stake for teams in each regular season division. The 30 teams in each region will be divided into three groups of 10 teams each using their ALGS Year 2 and Year 3 Preseason Qualifiers performance. Each Pro League Split will consist of an online regular season, where teams will first meet in a triple round-robin format (each group will play every other group three times). In this triple round robin, each team will play 36 games in 6 series of 6 games. The top 20 regular season teams will advance to the regional finals for online match points.

In North America (NA), Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC), the 10 North teams, including the regional final winners and the top 9 regular season point teams, will qualify for the Split 1 playoffs. In South America and APAC South, five teams will qualify for the Split 1 Playoffs. This includes the winners of the regional finals and the top four teams ranked by regular season points. Split 2 Playoff region slot allocations will be determined by Split 1 Playoff results. The better a region’s teams perform in the Split 1 Playoffs, the more slots that region will earn in the Split 2 Playoffs. At the end of the Split 1 Pro League Regular Season, the bottom eight teams from each region will be relegated to the Split 2 Pro League Qualifier, where they will compete against the top-performing Challenger Circuit teams for a Split 2 Pro League spot. After the Split 2 Playoffs, all Pro League teams that do not qualify for the Championship will participate in the Last Chance Qualifier to qualify for the World Championship.
