Clash of Clans is a game that provides players with numerous ways to approach various situations. Whether it’s constructing a base or launching an attack against an opponent, Supercell offers a wide range of techniques for players to utilize. Among the attacking strategies that players in Town Hall 11 and above often use is the Grand Warden walk, which is similar to the Queen Walk but utilizes slightly different techniques. To assist players in better understanding the Warden Walk, we have created a comprehensive guide that includes a table of contents and covers topics such as the basic requirements, steps, and army combinations for executing this strategy in Clash of Clans. A Comprehensive Guide to Mastering the Grand Warden Walk in Clash of Clans: Tips and Tricks Included.

Exploring the Concept of Grand Warden Walk in the Game Clash of Clans

The Warden Walk strategy involves clearing the outer perimeter of the enemy base to pave the way for the main army to infiltrate and conquer the center. This technique is akin to the Archer Queen Walk, wherein healers are positioned behind the Warden to provide healing support in times of attack.

Despite the similarities in technique, the Queen Walk and Warden Walk differ in certain aspects. For one, the Archer Queen delivers more damage and is faster in destroying buildings compared to the Grand Warden.

On the other hand, the Grand Warden has a significant advantage in range compared to the Archer Queen, as he can target anything within 7 tiles while the Queen falls behind with a range of only 5 tiles. Additionally, unlike the Queen, the Warden can jump walls, eliminating the need for wall breakers or jump spells to enter and target more buildings.

Another benefit of using the Warden Walk strategy is that it often keeps healers away from air defences, unless triggered by traps. This can be a significant advantage, as it helps to retain healers over time and maintain the health of your attacking troops.

Essential Requirements for Executing a Warden Walk in Clash of Clans

To perform the Warden Walk strategy in Clash of Clans, players need to have a Town Hall level of 11 or higher to unlock the Grand Warden. Attempting this strategy at lower levels of the Grand Warden is not recommended, as it lacks the necessary hitpoints and damage to sustain attacks from multiple defenses. Even at level 10, the Warden cannot withstand two defenses targeting it, making it a waste of this strategy. To effectively execute the Warden Walk, the Grand Warden should have a minimum level of 20, and the preferred level varies based on the Town Hall level. It’s important to note that the higher the level of the Grand Warden, the better the chances of success for the Warden Walk strategy.

Different Combinations of Troops and Spells for Warden Walk

When it comes to the Warden Walk, breaking through walls is not necessary as the Grand Warden has the ability to jump over them. While the rest of the troop requirements are similar to the Queen Walk, 4-5 Healers and 1-2 Rage spells are recommended. To lure out Clan Castle troops and clear out buildings on the opposite side, players can opt for Wizards, Balloons, Baby Dragons, or Hog Riders.

Maintaining Balance with Efficient Use of Healers

To maintain balance within the game, Clash of Clans has established troop rules that players must follow. Even healers have a specific set of rules regarding their effectiveness. Using multiple healers assigned to one target will decrease their overall effectiveness due to the presence of an additional healer. The sixth healer’s healing effects are reduced to 40%, as mentioned earlier. Therefore, it is recommended that players use only 4 or a maximum of 5 healers to avoid such a decrease in effectiveness.

Executing the Warden Walk Step by Step

To execute a successful Warden Walk in Clash of Clans, players need to strategize and plan accordingly. Since this strategy is used to clear the outside buildings of the base, players need to carefully choose the base they want to attack.

•  To start the Warden Walk, the Grand Warden must be deployed first, followed by the Healers. However, players should avoid dropping the Warden in areas with too many defences to prevent him from taking heavy damage and losing his ability quickly.

•  Due to the Warden’s range advantage, he can take out a few defences without even getting close to them. While the Warden Walk is ongoing, players can use other cards like Baby Dragons and Wizards to clear out other parts of the base. Balloons are also a good choice for attacking defences.

One advantage of using the Warden Walk is that it is a great support strategy. The Warden will follow the troops you deploy ahead of it, making it easier to target specific defenses. To lure out the opponent’s Clan Castle troops, you can use a loon or any other troop. If you have a tank in your army, use it to take down the Clan Castle troops. Otherwise, use your other heroes with the Archer Queen to assist. Once the Clan Castle troops are cleared, deploy your troops within the Warden’s aura to benefit from his ability.

Top Army Compositions for Successful Warden Walks

When it comes to Warden Walks, ground attacks are the preferred method as Warden flying can be a bit difficult to manage. The army compositions for these attacks may vary depending on the Town Hall level and which troops are unlocked. One popular strategy for Town Hall 13 and above is the Yeti Smash, which has proven to be very effective against any type of base design. For bases that are spread out, don’t forget to utilize the Warden Walk strategy to ensure a successful three-star attack.
