The UCI Mountain Bike (MTB) Marathon World Championships 2022 will take place at Haderslev in Denmark from September 15 to 17, 2022. The UCI Mountain Bike Marathon World Championships are the premier mountain bike marathon competition. The event, which was introduced by the Union Cycliste Internationale in 2003, is held yearly in separate classes for men and women. The 2003 competition was part of the UCI Mountain Bike and Trials World Championships. However, the following marathon world championships have been organized as separate events. There are both asphalt and gravel roads along the way, as well as singletrack and narrower routes. It has a 40-kilometer course with 500 meters of altitude per lap. While men must complete three rounds, it is two rounds for women.
