Ravindra Jadeja was born on 6th December 1988 and he is an Indian international cricketer. He is currently leading Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. And, he is considered to be one of the greatest fielders in recent times as well.
Jadeja made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka on 8 February 2009 and scored an unbeaten 60 off 77 balls in that match also. However, his Test debut came on 13th December 2012, against England at Nagpur. And CSK bought him for $2 million at the 2012 IPL Players Auction. Later, Gujarat Lions bought him in the 2016 IPL Players Auction for ₹9.5 crores after the Chennai Super Kings were banned from the IPL for two seasons. On 22 January 2017, he became the first Indian left-arm spinner to take 150 One Day International wickets as well.

However, he was ranked as the No.1 bowler in ICC ODI Cricket in August 2013. With this, he became the first Indian bowler to top the rankings since Anil Kumble, who topped the table in 1996. Moreover, he is the fourth Indian bowler after Kapil Dev, Maninder Singh and Kumble to be ranked No. 1 as well.
