Team India batsman Mayank Agarwal was born on 16 February 1991, He plays for the Karnataka cricket team in domestic cricket and captains Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League. He made his international debut for Team India on 26 December 2018 against Australia at the MCG as well.
Agarwal came in the limelight with his performances in the Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy in the 2008-09 and 2010 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup, where he was the highest run-scorer for India. He was also adjudged Man of the Series in the Karnataka Premier League in 2010 as well.
He scored his maiden triple century in first-class cricket when he made an unbeaten 304 for Karnataka against Maharashtra in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy. During the same month, he also scored 1,000 runs in first-class cricket and he was the highest run-scorer in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy, finishing the tournament with a whopping 1,160 runs as well.
In February 2018, he became the highest run-scorer in the 2017–18 Vijay Hazare Trophy, with 723 runs in eight matches. He also scored 2,141 runs across formats, the highest total by any batsman in the Indian domestic season as well. He was also the leading run-scorer for Karnataka in the 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy, with 251 runs in seven matches as well.

On 27 September 2020, Mayank Agarwal scored his maiden Indian Premier League century while playing for Kings XI Punjab against Rajasthan Royals, amassing 106 off 50 balls as well.
