West Indies have won three out of the six T20I bi-lateral series so far since their first meeting in 2009 while one ended in a draw.
West Indies will host Bangladesh for the third and final T20I at the Providence Stadium, Guyana on Thursday. The first and second T20I took place at Windsor Park, Roseau, Dominica on July 2 and 3 respectively. The first T20I was called off after rain played a spoilsport while the hosts won the second match by 35 runs. The series is a part of Bangladesh’s full tour to the West Indies.
Bangladesh will look to bounce back and level the three-match series 1-1 at the Providence Stadium, Guyana. However, they will be wary of the hosts’ batters Brandon King and Rovman Powell, who notched up match-winning half-centuries in the previous match. Bangladesh veteran Shakib Al Hasan and captain Mahmudullah along with Afif Hossain will be the key players in their set up.
West Indies and Bangladesh have faced-off 15 times in T20Is. The West Indies hold an upper hand as they have won eight matches in comparison to the five won by Bangladesh. West Indies have also won three out of the six T20I bi-lateral series so far since their first meeting in 2009 while one ended in a draw. Bangladesh will have a chance to save themselves from the blushes and level the ongoing series in the final match.
