Nepal created a T20 cricket spectacle at the Asian Games as they shattered numerous records in their match against Mongolia, marking a historic moment in the world of international cricket. Highest T20 Total: Nepal set a staggering total of 314/3, surpassing Afghanistan’s previous record of 278/3 against Ireland in February 2019. This feat was later matched by the Czech Republic, scoring 278/4 against Turkey in August 2019.

Largest T20 Victory Margin: Nepal’s victory margin of 273 runs against Mongolia became the largest in T20 history, surpassing the Czech Republic’s 257-run win against Turkey. Remarkably, only three instances exist where a team won by over 200 runs in T20 Internationals. Most Sixes in an Innings: Nepal smashed 26 sixes, a new record for most sixes in a T20 innings by a team. The previous record was 23, held by Balkh Legends in the Afghanistan Premier League in 2018. Nepal scored a remarkable 212 runs in boundaries, comprising 14 fours and 26 sixes. This total outshines the previous record of 210, jointly held by Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2013 and India against Sri Lanka in 2017.
