KKR will come out all guns blazing in this game with two important points up for grabs.
KKR will lock horns with RCB in their first home game on April 6 at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata. They started the season with a loss against Punjab Kings in their previous match, it was a rain-affected game and they fell short of seven runs (DLS). KKR’s bowling department didn’t live up to the expectations, Tim Southee conceding 54 runs from 4 overs. Sunil Narine and Shardul Thakur were costly as well. Amidst all, Umesh Yadav and Varun Chakravarthy were more economical than the rest. KKR will come out all guns blazing in this game with two important points up for grabs.
On the other hand, RCB have started the campaign with a brilliant win over the Mumbai Indians at home, Mohammed Siraj started off exceptionally in his first three overs, conceding just five runs. Karn Sharma came in and changed the match on its head after bagging two crucial wickets for Nehal Wadhera and Tim David which restricted the Mumbai Indians to a below-par total. Chasing a target of 172 runs, RCB got off to a flying start from Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli. The pair stitched a 148 runs run partnership for the opening wicket and put RCB in a strong position. Maxwell came in and finished the match with a quick cameo.
