Sehwag, who is a part of the official broadcaster’s Hindi commentary panel for the India vs England fifth Test, poked fun at Kohli after he was seen dancing in a celebratory mood after the dismissal of former England captain Joe Root in the first innings. The incident took place after former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif engaged him in a conversation after the wicket.
Kaif, who was doing the Hindi commentary for host broadcasters with Sehwag, pointed to Kohli’s celebration and said: “Virat Kohli ka dance dekhiye (Look at Virat Kohli’s dance). To which Sehwag replied: ‘Chamiya naach rahi hai yaha (A dancer is dancing here).” His comments did not go well amongst the fans as he was slammed for his derogatory remarks.
