In India A vs Nepal, 9th ODI, Rohit Paudel, Nepal’s captain out shined and became the most valuable player of the match.

India A vs Nepal, 8th ODI of the ACC Emerging Team Asia Cup ended with India winning by 9 wickets and 28 overs left. This is the 2nd win for India A in the tournament, Whereas, for Nepal it’s their 2nd loss. India A won their 1st first match against United Arab Emirates by 8 wickets. Nepal played their first match against Pakistan A, where Pakistan A won by 4 wickets. In India A ve Nepal, many players performed exceptionally well, but the question is, Who is the most valuable player of the match? In Nepal’s match against India A, Nepal won the toss and decided to bat first. Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh from Nepal opened the innings for them. The India (A) bowling attack began with Harshit Rana and Rajvardhan Hangargekar. 

In India A vs Nepal, 8th ODI, Harshit Rana gave the Indian team an early breakthrough in the form of Kushal Bhurtel. Nepal’s starting 3 wickets of Aasif and Dev Khanal including Kushal went down in quick succession. Rohit Paudel, a 2nd down batsman took the responsibility and held the innings for his team. Only Gulsan Jha, managed to partner Rohit, as Nepal’s batting collapsed against India A bowling attack. Rohit scored the most valuable 65 runs for his team. India (A) bowler, Nishant Sindhu took 4 wickets, while Harshit and Rajvardhan took 2 and 3 wickets respectively. Nepal struggled against India in batting and managed to score 167 runs by the end of 39.2 overs.

India A innings was opened by Sai Sudarshan and Abhishek Sharma. Indian A openers created a partnership of 139 runs by the end of 18 overs. India (A) first wicket was Abhishek Sharma, which was taken by Rohit Paudel. Abhishek Sharma scored the most valuable 87 runs for India. Sai Sudarshan also scored a half century and helped India A easily won the match by 9 wickets and 28 overs left. Rohit Paudel, Nepal’s captain, played exceptionally well. Rohit Paudel, Abhishek Sharma and Nishant Sindhu ,they all played a valuable role for their respective teams, but Rohit Paudel turned out to be the most valuable player of the match.

Rohit Paudel, Nepal’s captain after winning the toss, chose to bat first.  Because Nepal didn’t get the desired start, all the burden came to lower order. Because Rohit Paudel took the responsibility and scored the most valuable 65 runs, Nepal reached a respectable total of 167 runs. The only wicket that Nepal took, was also taken by Rohit Paudel. He dismissed Abhishek Sharma, who was on 87 runs. By doing so and giving an all round performance, Rohit became the most valuable player of the match.
