It's a do-or-die match for the Delhi Capital to keep the hopes alive to qualify for the playoffs.
Delhi Capitals will lock horns with the Kolkata Knight Riders in the 28th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League. KKR have 4 points in 5 matches and has lost their last two matches. Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Andre Russell, and Narayan Jagadeesan have done well in patches and will need to step up in this encounter. The spin trio of Sunil Narine, Varun Chakravarthy, and Suyash Sharma have done well so far.
Delhi Capitals have played five matches so far and have lost all of them. With no points at all, they languish at the bottom of the points table. Prithvi Shaw has been a total failure at the top of the order, David Warner has been the one-man army with some support from Axar Patel and Manish Pandey. Anrich Nortje has been superb with support from Kuldeep Yadav. Mustafizur Rahman has bowled a few excellent deliveries but at times has gone for runs as well. It’s a do-or-die match for the Delhi Capital to keep the hopes alive to qualify for the playoffs.
