Amo Sharks will face Band-e-Amir Dragons in the 12th match of the Shpageeza Cricket League 2022 tournament at Kabul International Cricket Stadium in Kabul on Saturday. Both teams lost their last fixtures and will be looking to make a strong return in the contest. Band-e-Amir Dragons will be under pressure as they are currently sitting with a wooden spoon in the Shpageeza Cricket League 2022 points table. 

The eight edition of the Shpageeza Cricket League 2022 will run till August 5. Shpageeza Cricket League was formed by the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) in 2013 and since then has been a regular event which features some of the top players from their country. Eight teams will be participating in the tournament — Amo Sharks, Band-e Amir Dragons, Bost Defenders, Kabul Eagles, Mis Ainak Knights, Spinghar Tigers, Hindukhus Stars and Pamir Zalmi — with a total number of 32 matches will be played over a course of 19 days.

There will be no LIVE TELECAST for the Shpageeza Cricket League 2022 in India. Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) and the Radio-Television of Afghanistan (RTA), however, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the production and broadcast of the Shpageeza Cricket League 2022. All the matches will be telecast on RTA in Afghanistan.
