Ring, IBF, and WBO junior lightweight champion Mikaela Mayer will meet WBC opponent Alycia Baumgardner at the O2 Arena in London, England on Saturday. The 32-year-old defended her crown against Jennifer Han, rated no.2 by The Ring in junior lightweight.
Before turning pro in 2017, Baumgardner, who is ranked No. 2 by The Ring at junior lightweight, won two national championships. She had won her first six fights before losing to future junior welterweight champion Christina Linardatou. Mikaela who she will play on Saturday has been undefeated in the 17 games that she played in her career (5 KOs).
