WBC and WBO featherweight Amanda Serrano will make her comeback to the ring against IBF champion Sarah Mahfoud in a unification contest on September 24, 2022 at the AO Arena in Manchester, England.

In February 2020, she defeated Brenda Carbajal by unanimous decision to claim the interim championship. Later that year, she was promoted to full champion. The 32-year-old boxer Mahfoud who resides in Denmark won her most recent match against Nina Meinke in April in Copenhagen by unanimous decision.
