Venezuela vs Argentina FIBA South America Women’s Championship will take place on August 1, 2022. This will be the opening game for the South American Women’s Basketball Championship. Brazil and Colombia will also be competing in this tournament. The only time that these two teams played each other was in 2016 in a related competition. Chile dominated that game, winning with a score of 68:53. However, the Chilean team did not do so well in the most recent South American Championship, finishing last in its group.

Chile gave Paraguay a good run despite ultimately losing by seven points. The team was also unable to win against Venezuela and Brazil. Chile did manage to defeat Peru in the match for seventh place, preventing her from finishing last in the competition. In 2018, Uruguay was totally absent from the South American Championship. And before that, they did very poorly. In the group stage, there were nine national teams. Uruguay consistently and overwhelmingly lost against everyone. Only in the match against Paraguay did they able to maintain a small scoring differential. The squad didn’t do so great in the competition and ended up in last place.
