The Brooklyn Nets keep making big moves this season. After trading for James Harden in January and signing Blake Griffin a couple of days ago, they have gotten LaMarcus Aldridge in the buyout market. The veteran forward quickly became a free agent for contending teams. Aldridge joins a Nets team that has current All-Stars Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving, and joined by Blake Griffin from the Pistons. An All-Star in three of his seasons in San Antonio, Aldridge fills one of the few holes for the potent Nets. He can play power forward or centre, giving Brooklyn a reliable post-up presence to play with its collection of outside threats.
James Harden has been winning games for the Nets this season in the absence of Kevin Durant who has been out on the side-lines due to a hamstring strain.
