San Miguel Beermen will take on Converge FiberXers in the PBA match on December 10. San Miguel-Beermen is one win away from the semi-finals of the 2022 PBA Commissioners’ Cup. He beat the Converge FiberXers (112-94) to take a 1-0 lead in Wednesday’s best-of-three quarterfinal series.

Romeo has averaged 12.5 points in his two games so far but has shot from the arc in just three of his 14 games. But the real hero of SMB was defense. Especially in the first half, we led 55-32. Converge leads the league in 3-point attempts per game with 41.6 and ranks third in triples with 12.9. In that game, their attempts (41) went straight into the box, but only his six were successful, all of them in the second half. Beermen also held Converge’s fast break to just seven points. This is about half of his average of 13.8.
