The Peristeri BC will go against Bnei Herzeliya in the International Champions League match on October 3 at Andreas Papandreoy (Peristeri). In the 2017–18 season, Peristeri won their third A2 League Championship. The team broke the league win-loss record during the season, finishing with a record of 29 wins and 1 loss. The club was therefore promoted to the Greek Basket League for the 2018–19 season. The arrival of coach Argiris Pedoulakis proved to be an important factor for the team. Pedrakis’ coaching and quality core of players saw Peristeri finish second in the regular season and fourth overall, securing a return to European competition. For the 2007–2008 season, Cezary Trybaski signed a contract with the group. Peristeri was demoted to the Greek A2 League once more following the 2012–13 Greek Basket League season. The team participated in the Greek B League, the third tier of the Greek basketball league system, rather than the A2 League the next season as a result of financial concerns.
The club entered the FIBA Champions League, one of two Pan-European second divisions, in the 2019–20 season. The team had a successful season, reaching the Round of 16 of the Basketball Champions League, beating powerhouses Hapoel Jerusalem BC. Peristeri finished third in the 2019–20 Greek Basketball League despite the COVID-19 pandemic ending his season in early March 2020. Peristeri was unsuccessful in the 2020–21 Greek Basket League, finishing sixth. The team changed its three coaches during the season and struggled with player chemistry throughout the season. Ultimately, Peristeri has been unable to match the highs of the past two years.
