From 2003 to 2011, Taylor was a pillar at Ulm. The Williamsport, Pennsylvania native then entered the world of national team basketball when he served as an assistant with the Czech Republic. From 2018 to 2020, he also played for Hamburg and the then-D-League. He became a target for Poland because of his service to Czechia.
