The quarter-final match-up of Israel vs Turkey will take place at Podgorica, Bemax Arena. Israel and Turkey both will face each other off to decide which of the teams deserves to be at the semi-finals of the FIBA U-20 European Championship. Both teams have done exceptionally well and are currently the top teams in their group. Israel stands to be at the top of their group, whereas Turkey remains in second, just next to Montenegro. Israel and Turkey have faced head-on seven times, in which only twice was Israel able to overcome the odds against Turkey.
It would be difficult for Israel to win against Turkey as they are one of the best technical teams to play in the tournament and Israel will have to play extra hard to gain momentum and side the match in their favor. But if we look back at both teams’ wins and losses for the past four matches, it can be seen that both teams have won 3 matches each and lost 1. Israel lost their only match against Poland and Turkey lost against Montenegro. But, it would be very interesting to see who comes out on top and wins the quarter-final match.
