The Czech Republic is set to take on France in the 2022 FIBA U-20 Women’s European Championship on July 9. The group stage of the competition will run from July 8 to July 11 and the second round of the knock-out rounds (the round of 16) will kick off on July 12. Quarter finals follow on July 12 and semi-finals then on July 15, with a third-place play-off taking place on July 15 and finally, the championship game to conclude proceedings on July 16.

The teams were divided into 4 groups. Group A consisted of the Czech Republic, France, Hungary, and the Netherlands. Coming to Group B, it had Finland, Italy, Belgium, and Sweden.
