Uruguay vs Chile in this game. The game is slated to take place on August 1, 2022. In the opening game of the South American Women’s Basketball Championship, the national teams will compete. Brazil and Colombia will be opponents in the battle for the playoffs. The teams’ lone head-to-head encounter happened in 2016 in a related competition. The Chilean national team thereafter dominated each quarter and triumphed justly with a score of 68:53.

The Chilean national team finished last in its group in the most recent South American Championship. Chile  was able to give Paraguay some challenge despite falling short by seven points. Additionally, the team was unable to win against Venezuela and Brazil. Chile defeated Peru in the match for seventh place, preventing her from finishing last in the competition.

In 2018, Uruguay was totally absent from the South American Championship. And before that, they did a terrible job. In the group stage, there were nine national teams. Uruguay consistently and overwhelmingly lost against everyone. Only in the match against Paraguay did they able to maintain a small scoring differential. The squad finished the competition in last place as a consequence.
