Bleed Green vs Aftershocks TBT match will be held on July 25. The Tip-Off Classic is a tournament where the winning team takes home a prize of one million dollars. This year, WarReady has been invited and will be playing against some former college basketball players and even an Auburn Final Four winning star from last year! One player that the audience might recognize is Bryce Brown (who helped lead the Auburn Tigers to victory in 2019), although most of his teammates are more unfamiliar by sight. The roster includes Bryce Bragg, Rod X, Jackson Duke, Pallab Ghoshal, Dai’Shon Nealipuram, Joshua Perryman, Curry Swanson Jr., Kanoa Tallacottini, and Nathan Watkins as well.
This year’s WarReady team includes some familiar alumni, like former Auburn basketball stars Mustapha Heron, TJ Dunans, and Quantez Robertson. Khalil Purifoy and Bryce Brown also played a huge role in helping the Tigers reach last year’s Final Four. With such a strong roster of veterans and new players alike, the WarReady team has its sights set on one goal: Winning its first championship next week! Their first test will be against a team led by former Wofford star Tyler Bischoff on Thursday. The last time they met was over 20 years ago with the two teams meeting to close out the 2017 season. In what proved to be a wild game that went down to the wire, WarReady ended up edging out Wofford 66-62 at Trojan Arena back in February of 2018 for its 9th victory of the campaign.
