The Esports Federation of India (ESFI) has announced the start of the National Esports Championships (NESC) 2022, which will be held on April 4, 2022, to select India’s gaming contingent for the Asian Games 2022. Esports will compete for the first time at the Asian Games 2022 in Hangzhou, China, with 24 medals awarded across eight gaming titles. FIFA, an Asian Games version of PUBG Mobile and Arena of Valor, Dota 2, League of Legends, Dream Three Kingdoms 2, HearthStone, and Street Fighter V are among the eight medal games. As of Saturday, all Indian gamers can compete in the national championships for DOTA 2, Hearthstone, FIFA22, Street Fighter V, and League of Legends, as announced by ESFI.

However, because both Arena of Valor and PUBG Mobile (PUBGM) are banned in India, there is no specific information. However, for Indian players, the game was relaunched as Battlegrounds Mobile India.
National Esports Championship registration date is April 1, and after a series of rounds, the Asian Games sqaud for Esports will be announced.

Owing to the Covid-19 pandemic, the national qualifiers will be held virtually with top athletes from across the country competing and showcasing their skills and strategies.
The NESC ’22 winners will compete in the AESF’s Road to Asian Games – Regional Qualifiers (June-July, 2022), which will determine seeding for the main event in China. Regardless of the results of the Regional Qualifiers, all players will compete in the Main Event at the Asian Games in China.
